as you have posted, window is not open in the moment you want to read window properties. So, my proposal is to open this window, read properties GetWidth()/GetHeight(), and close the window.

Why do you want to know size before opening a picture?

Sorry for my delayed post.
I wrote script to open picture in picture window, get size, calculate position of picture window and set this position. But it does not work property. The first execution it get size (GetWidth()/GetHeight()) of the previous opened window. It is OK on the second execution.
So I wrote the script with switch-case (realy with if-elseif, because it is string) and I enter all posible sizes manually.

I had the same issue as you - I was using one function for preparing pop-up windows using pictures of varying sizes in them, while also trying to keep them from going outside specific area.
