I am in a similar situation. Did you have any solution on how to transfer in IEC 61850 system. I have bought SIcam A8000 CP -8022 instead of S7-1200. But do not know the procedure of integration it with Wincc/Scc.

What exact wincc version you use ? You use WinCC V7 or WinCC Professional ?

For Sicam and WinCC V7  there are any special channel for the communication.

You can use also OPC for communication

Hi,

I am using WINCC v7.4 and SICAM SCC V9.03. I have already read the SICAM SCC manual. There said of a .sxd file integration in wincc. But I could not find any document of .sxd file generation procedure in Toolbox ii. 

By the way is there any manual on OPC communication for SICAM A8000 cp 8022 device.

If you use SCAM SCC there is a channel for the communication SICAM PAS Protocol Suite
Open WinCC Explorer select Tag management and add neu channel. Select the SICAM PAS channel.

If you like to use OPC for the communication add the OPC channel. WinCC is OPC client.

Hi, 

I found that Sicam Pas protocol suite is not the suitable type of communication channel for my sicam A800 CP 8022 RTU unit. I have known that Sicam IEC protocol suite is the one that I should take into action. But for A8000, I need to make a .sxd file which I do not know how to generate from Toolbox ii. Although I know the generation of .scd file from toolbox.

Do you have information about the .sxd file creation. Any manual, tutorial link or anything that could help me.

To communicate SICAM RTU with Wincc v7.4. generate .xml file of your signal and that that .xml file import in Wincc and attach the correct address to display. sure and certain value show on SCADA

I have added the Sicam SCC automation unit in the toolbox. But I am finding it difficult to parameterize the scc link. Could you elaborate on it?  Or if you have any manual or video or something that i can go step by step for this configuration.
