6ra7031 commissioning problem

NADIM Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Dear Sir, I want your help regarding problem mentioned in subject line. We are using 2 nos 100 kw bulb as a load for our drive . The details of the parameter that we set are as follows: P081= 1 P082=2 P083=4 P100=1 P102=0.01 p700=0 We just want to control the armature voltage or the intensity of bulb by varying the 10K pot connected in terminal 3 & 4 as per ckt diagramme.Giving start and enable command through push buttons. The output is showing 460V DC but we are unable to control it via pot. I think i am missing some parameters. Kindly help me to solve this as matter is most urgent. Await your kind response. With regards, Nadim Dear NADIM Please Check the following : 1) Re-check the parameters set by you P081= 1 - Field Weakening Activated: For this settingField Weakening Optimisation must be executed P083=4 - Actual Speed Feedback - Freely Wired ? P100=1 - Rated Armature Current = 1 Amp P102=0.01 - Rated Field Current = 10ma !!!!! - Tthe Parameters set by you are for DC Motor with Field Wekening. For Bulb Load , you should set as follows : P081 = 0 : No Field Weakening P082 = 0 : Disable Field P083 = 3 :Actual Speed Feedback = EMF Actual Value 2) Do you have the Safety Shutdown contact wired across XS : 105 - 106 ? 3) What is the Operating Status r000 indicated on the drive. This will indicate whether the Drive is waiting for any pre-conditions for Run. 4) For better visualisation and quick commissioning, I suggest the following : a) Pl Download the 6RA70 Manual and read Ch 6 & 7 for wiring and Startuo b) Pldownload and use Drivemonitor software from the link and use the same for commissioning. Drivemonitor also includes an "Assisted Commissioning" wizard to easily startup and run a drive. Hope this helps Cheers Navnag

With regards, Nadim Hello, On lamp load, controlled variable DC out put will not be available at DC output side, (since no feed back is available either speed or current or back emf). Whenever start & enable comands are applied, drive will be in open loop, & maximum dc out put voltage will be available. Generally lamp load testing is carried out to check the functioning of drive in open loop.

We just want to enable our magnet by giving 40 V DC voltage only. Plz dont give any link to any pdf file, I want the complete parameter details with values as we have taken almost every possible steps to our level. Plz help us to solve this. Regards, Nadim Hello NADIM For this, you should simply use a adjustable DC power supply. That will be much simpler and easier than using a 6RA70 for the task. We have a saying ... why use a sword, where only a needle is needed to do the job Cheers Navnag
