I am tryin to connect to the cmr2020 via  open VPN and when i am tryin to connect it is showing ssl error. Can you help me what I can do certificates are not activated and if i have to add certificates how am I going to do the certificates.

Hello MPBusuttil,

what openvpn client do you use?

The LOGO!CMR doesn't use/support any certicates for OpenVPN. It uses PSK (pre shared key)

Therefore you only need to copy the LOGO!CMR  OVPN config file to the client and launch it.

I assume you were ussing an OpenVPN client which doesn't support PSK, like OpenVPN Connect.

You can e.g. use OpenVPN Gui - https://openvpn.net/community-downloads/

You are using: OpenVPN Connect

--> This won't work, as it doesn't support PSK

As it looks like you are using it on mobile phone, use "OpenVPN for Andoid"

On a computer you have t use OpenVPN GUI

yes i have tried open vpn gui and this is what was only displayed

and on explorer webpage not seen

Is 192.168.10.35 your public IP on the WAN interface? This sounds more like your LAN interface IP of LOGO! CMR

Can you access the CMR over the WAN interface IP when option is enabled (Security-->HTTPS-->Enable WAN)

OpenVPN on CMR only works over the WAN interface

--> You do need a PUBLIC WAN address at the CMR --> check your SIM card provider, if you do have a public IP. Otherwise there is no way to do it.

If you have a dynamic public IP, you can use DynDNS to avoid changing the config of VPN every time, the IP changes.

If you have a public WAN IP address you can build up the VPN connection with OpenVPN Gui

Thanks for you help but the same thing is shown with the public IP Address as shown in the attached.

I tried to ping 10.8.0.1 and it worked so ping to the server is working

Thanks all for the help the ip that i was given was a private ip not a public ip.
