The MLFB number is of system software 810DE CCU3. From the attached photo snap, your system looks to be slim line. This is contradictory. Please attach the correct MLFB number of your system. (Please check, at rear side or on PCU, Siemens laballed stickers are pasted. Please check & post here. e.g 6FC5371-0AA30-0AB0 is SINUMERIK 840D SL NCU 710.3B PN WITH PLC 317-3 PN/DP INCL. Hello, The OP is 15" TFT (with or without VLE needs to check) & MCP is MCP 416C-M. The bottom 6 keys are user defined keys. You need to check MD data & PLC logic to find out which key is used for feed/axis enable/start. Please refer attached file for more information. HTH. Attachment810D OP .zip (118 Downloads) |

OK. So what type of machine is this, turning, milling? Could you attach here NC, PLC back up? |

Its turning machine with milling capabilities, basicly it mill turn machine see video link. One Spindle (indexial in C(S4) axis, and rotational for turning operation) On turret there is X and Z axis including driven tools positions (stations for milling tools) S1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AeTe5k3wW_g CTX 310 ECOLINE |

Hi, did you also post this? https://support.industry.siemens.com/tf/de/en/posts/810d-pcu20-feed-and-spindle-problem/146085/?page=0&pageSize=10 if you are looking for solution for same problem, I suggest don't focus on "Feed enable" on the machine control panel. I attached picture, which is from my shop m/c DMG "Twin 65" turning m/c. after I read you post, I just went to try that red color key (left side part 3rd line from bottom) seems like "Feed Disable" button, even I press and hold it, but no use, I can still jog X,Z,... As I know Not all OEM/m/c builders following Siemens idea. I am trained by Siemens and most time followed its idea. when I design or rebuild m/c PLC program for customer, I always use Siemens standard MCP, and use "feed on/off" "spindle ON/OFF" keys on it. But m/c builder , such as DMG, Index, they don't like that , --you see --Siemens should follow them. the machine control panel in your and my pictures are Siemens special made for DMG. Index not use Siemens MCP at all, As I know these 2 OEM's they don't use "Feed ON" button function, after m/c power up, if all condition meet, all feed/axis will automatic enable--otherwise, there is some thing wrong to disabled feed. So take more time to look for why you have alarms and feed/axis not moving. the best way is to ask DMG or former m/c owner. another solution is diagnosis by PLC--if you have SIMATIC Manager in PC and possible online.

Hi there, Thanks for your detailed answer. problem occurs for feed is because i can not put main spindle in reference position, axis X, Z, C1 are referenced, only problem is C4 (c axis for milling and S axis for turning) thats why i cant move feed or maybe spin this axis in desired speed, But i dont know why its happening i run machine, transfered programs etc etc, make cutting, turned it off and i couldnt refer my spindle, i think thats main problem with machine.
