If it can then you should use it as OPC server and Flexible as OPC client. This should work. If not, then second option could be DDE, but it is deprecated and not used in WinCC Flexible. SO for you 2 options: 1. If InTouch support OPC server then go for OPC 2. You can use small S7-1211C PLC as a gateway for data transfer 3. More painful methods via some text files or databases, but better you forget this option.

Jeebs Posts: 218 Rating: (28)	Open your WinCC Flex project > Connections > Communication driver > If OPC is listed, your terget device can use OPC to communicate to the Intouch Scada. If it's not listed, then your target device can't communicate to the Intouch Scada. Seeing as you did not specify the device you're using, we can't really give an informed answer.

Anyway, if you have OPC server there, in order to connect Intouch HMI to it, use OPCLink. How to make it configuration - take a look at 167 "How To Browse a Remote OPC Server Using OPCLink". GOWDA Posts: 112 Rating: (2)	dear all, Firstly trying to communicate with within two system, where in one flexible project running as client and in another as project. in client backup at connection,i am getting server but when configuring for tags,at symbol when i am searching for server tag, i am getting error. i am attaching two screen shots also. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev dear sir the problem we have to communicate with the motorala 420 series to the siemens s7 300 plc weather we can able to get data from motorala to siemens or (i have to communicate data fronm wonderware intuch to wincc flexible sp 2) and there is no support service for the wonderware like the siemens support how to exchange the data to the intuch and flexible too give some solution thanks regard anbugeethan gowda

I see. So, according to Intouch you will need just to make a settings in OPCLink in order to connect it with SImaticNet OPC Server. And then 357 'How to Configure the OPC Tag Creator and Create OPCLink Tags in InTouch'. Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
