Then you have 48 inputs and 40 outputs and 800 function blocks. That's absolutely not the point!! What has this to do with expandig the Input/Output label list. This list is fixed in LSC for 24 Inputs/20 Outputs of one LOGO!:

He wants to extend the list of I/O names in LSC so that instead of the entries I1 to I24 and Q1 to Q20, Then it has I1 to I48 and Q1 to Q40.

The logo can no longer and the list is adapted for a logo. I don't understand the meaning behind it. You can't document something that doesn't exist.
