Riko Posts: 35 Rating: (0)	Dear Everyone, Hii... Currently I am using TP1200 HMI and going to link it with my CPU315-2DP using simatic manager. I did the HMI design using TIA portal and also doing the tag. Since my program is in simatic manager, I need to link the HMI with the simatic manager too right? There is one pdf I read, It shows that I need to put the GSD for the HMI in simatic manager but I cant find it.. Do I need the GSD to link them or no? Thank you so much everyone for your help.

In the PDF you attached a link is provided for the GSDML Download. If you don't use the Direct Buttons functionality then you doesn't need the GSD/GSDML. Regards Christoph

If you access PLC Tags from HMI you need no link in HWConfig for the TP. So what exactly you would do? Have you the PLC Data in the project of the TP1200 ? Have the TP1200 a connection established with the PLC or not? Regards Christoph
