I can not do the simulation s7 1200 with PLCsim V13 and TIA V13 SP1.

Error: error downloading to module "PLC 1"

1.) you need PLCSIM V13.0 SP1 to simulate a S7-1200
2.) which PLC with which FW you have projected?
3.) in you screen the PLCSIM is not running/started

The most likely cause of this error is an incorrect firmware version.  PLCSIM supports simulation of the S7-1200 firmware version V4.0 and later.  If the CPU in your project is an older firmware version, then attempting to download this to PLCSIM will result in the described error.

no on my Win8.1 64bit system plcsim is working without problems.

isd better you give detailed and better informations to analyze your problem. or you show in the other threads here in the forum for similar problems.

please check the version again and exactly! (provide a screen to clarify this!)

V13.0 SP1 latest Update is UPD5.

To simulate a S7-1200 you need PLCSIM V13.0 SP1 (Latest Update is UPD1 for PLCSIM V13.0 SP1)

And you can only simulate a S7-1200 FW V4.x or above!

I don't know if this is the problem but, have you selected your PE interface/Subnet? Because in your SS,  you didn't select the PLC subnet, but it is configurated (PN/IE_1).

In "Connection to interface/subnet" select PE/IE_1" and then start search.

but you have only V13.0 UPD6 and NOT V13.0 SP1 UPD!!

So please update to TIA V13.0 SP1 and the Latest Update (UPD5) and for PLCSIM update to V13.0 SP1 latest UPD (UPD1).

Then the simulation works !

 That worked for me, I chose a PLC with firmware v4.0 or upper and worked perfectly!

Hi,

I just had similar problem and it didn't wanna download even though firmware v4.0 was set.

What helped was changing device to v4.1 (in project), making unsuccessful attempt of hardware download, then change back to v4.0 and it all works now.

Busquei pelo problema e encontrei um vídeo no Youtube dando uma solução. É apenas baixar dois update e instalar, mais antes ele verifica se não é problema de divergência com o IP, simulador (S7-PLCSIM V14) com o TIA PORTAL V14.

Sanado este problema ele orienta a realizar 2 update pendente, depois depois disso, solucionou o problema. Segue o link . (caso não consiga acessar: " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOoLBS9-SWU ")
