Problems with Simoreg DC Master

PLCnoob Posts: 26 Rating: (1)	Hi, I have the following problem. My simoreg DC master communicates over profibus DP with my S7 412-2DP. In the hardware configuration I can see the drive and its a live. But when im sending control bits to the drive, the drive doesnt see the bits. alsow when I make a status bit high like the fault bit. the PLC doesnt see it. Im using PPO3 by the way. I use the deliverd software of siemens FC15 MD_SIMPL. EA_Adress is correct and I really dont know what the problem is. please help me out

If you have access to the drive, you could upload all its parameters... Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Have you set the bit10of the control word in PLC program. Only when bit10 is 1 drive accepts all sended data. Also control word must the first word in telegram from PLC to the drive.

Look at parameters n733.01or n733.17, PLC control word must be in one of them.

We can assume Siemens PLC side is OK and connection between drive and CPU. Give the MLFB number of the drive, you know 6ES7...in order to say you some parameters to check in drive...
