I really have some experiences on EMCO machine with Siemens 810T, actually I don't think those many "Zero" you mentioned important. You said you re-commissioning the machine with original files. (I thing NC, PLC data and PLC program) I think the only thing you need attention is reference point. even you using original data, but it is possible during down time, mechanical moved , then your X,Z, and tool turret references will be shifted. You can try to use one tool , and making NC programming in G91 to run the machine cutting some plastic (PVC) to try Attachment338_810_820_GA3_Installation_Instructions.pdf (319 Downloads) |

Hmmm. I'm a little bit lost here. What's shown on the paper printout in my picture is the original %TEA1 file. It came with the machine documentation. When the machine lost it's parameters due to a dead battery, I reloaded the %TEA1 %TEA2 and the %PCP files. Today I double-checked theses settings. It appears that the settings below 5000 were transferred over when I reloaded the parameters as written on the file EXCEPT that the parameters above 50000 were mostly just 00000000. So I changed all the values to what it specified in the %TEA1 file. Changing these values did not seem to make any difference in the operation of the machine however. But now the bits on the control seem to match the values that they originally had on paper. I restarted the control, and the new settings remain there. But I think you are saying that I need to find "MD--NCMD NC machine data" Where do I go to look for this? I'm struggling with the acronyms. MD=Machine Data? NC=Numerical Control? So this translates to "Machine Data-Numerical Control Machine data Machine data"???? What does this mean, and where do I look for it if not in the Setting Bits? To answer your other question, I used a program called PCIN42 on a windows 7 computer to transfer the TEA files over an RS232 connection to the Sinumerik control. However, now I actually use a USB to RS232 connector with a program called CNC data transfer to get programs onto the control. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.mivazlin.cncdatatransfer&hl=en_US CNC Data Transfer is amazing... I simply drop my gcode into an FTP folder, and load it from my phone onto the lathe. It's really easy. PCIN can do the same thing, but there's more steps and the interface is not great. |
