Goran_ Posts: 141 Rating: (0)	From the manual I read that problem is most probably with encoder or cable. I am trying to test the value of K0287, where I can see the EMF value. But the problem is that I dont know how to change parameters on simoreg (I have so far only worked with masterdrives). Using Drive monitor I cannot change for example P044 to K0287 (I set P51=40 and P52=3, as per manual), and the drive is in online mode (in status bar in drive monitor). Also, how can I change P083? Manual says P051=40, P52=3 and Offline. How to set drive in offline mode? And finally, there is an ADB board in this drive, which is used for profibus connection. Does ADB board need to be configured like TB or not? How to parameterize this board? If I make a new drive in Step 7, of type Simoreg v3.1, set profibus address and do not set technology board, and then I upload all the parameters from drive, and then I download the same parameters to drive, could this affect parameters from ADB board (if they are configured separately)? When you see "Online" in parameter table, this means that parameter can be changed in all operating states. "Offline" means that parameter can be changed in operating states of ≥o1.0. You may see the description of all operating states of the drive in parameter r001. Goran_ Using Drive monitor I cannot change for example P044 to K0287 Can you change P044 to some another value? Try to change this parameter from PMU or OP1S. How your PC with DriveMonitorconnected to the drive, directly to the X300 on front panel of drive or through Profibus? Goran_ there is an ADB board in this drive, which is used for profibus connection ADB - is an adapter board, which is need (with LBA - local bus adapter) to install CBP2 (Profibus board). ADB and LBA need not to be parametrized or configured. When you use profibus board (CBP2) you need to set a fewnumber of communication parameters. Read about this in the manual, chapter 7.7.2.

Why I cannot change any parameters? Hello. Check the setting of perameter P927. If you want to change parameters through Profibus and PMU you need to set P927=3.

Goran_ Posts: 141 Rating: (0)	If you have ever worked with masterdrives, you can open a control panel in the Drive monitor from the main screen, and there you can set the bits for control words to start the motor, you can set the speed that motor needs to be run, and you have available fields where you can attach some connector or binnector whose value is to be displayed.

There is only ON/OFF buttons at the bottom of DriveMonitor window. Other operations with 6RA70 you must make by changing the corresponding perameters.

Goran_ Posts: 141 Rating: (0)	Thanks. Do you have any idea about the subject of my topic? Often we receive F048. This drive has 2 encoders connected to it. One is from its motor connected to x400 (pins 68 and 70). The other one is from another motor used for some calculations - connected to x173 (pins 28 and 30). I have determined that I have the problem with encoder connected to x173, because if I plug it out from drive during the run, then I get this fault F048. If I plug out the connector from x400, I receive fault F042. On the display I read constant change between I and II.

If encoder is parametrized for using in the drive and you disconnect the cable during run you will get the F048. What are you using as actual speed value? What value have the parameters P083, P626. Check the fault value in parameter r047.001 when you receive your faults. Change between I and II means that the torque direction changes from positive to negative.
