TIA Portal v13 is not released for Windows 10.

But did you check in Control panel the 'set PG/PC interface'? (Perhaps a screenshot)

in my case i want to connect simulated HMI to a real PLC.

i am using tia portal. and not any standalone WinCC.

As my laptop is connected to real plc 1214c , i can manage to download the project in it but as my HMI is simulated i am not able to download the project and without download if i am trying to simuiilate not happening any thing in HMI. ( e.g. tag reflecting its value )

please guide.

I have a configuration build in TIA Portal V13.

The PLC project is not build in the TIA Portal project but is build in Step 7 V5.5.

Is it possible to simulate the HMI in TIA Portal so that is having a connection with the project in Step 7.
When I put on the simulate in Step 7 the tags in the TIA Portal simulate are dead...
???
