Received a *.zip from a customer of a backup from 2011. Not sure what software they used but there is a *:s7p file in the root that I point to for the migration function in Tia 17. I get the following error messages Option package(s) S7 F Systems / S7 Distributed Safety / S7 F ConfigurationPack missing in STEP 7 version V5.7. Option package(s) SIMATIC WinCC Flexible missing in STEP 7 version V5.7. I've included the error log and a print of the software installed on my computer. where do i find the software option packages above? I have STEP 7 Professional 2021 V5.7 V5.7.0.0_12.1.0.2 V5.7.0.0 S7 Distributed Safety Programming V5.4 + SP5 K5.4.5.0_3.5.0.2 K5.4.5.0 S7 F ConfigurationPack V5.5 + SP13 K5.5.13.0_7.1.0.1 K5.5.13.0 Attachmentmigration log AND installed software, 2 pages.pdf (326 Downloads) |

Hi Shalle, If there file extension is .s7p that means that the project was created with SIMATC Manager STEP7. If you want to migrate it to TIA Portal, I strongly suggest you to check this FAQ from SIOS about the migration process and requirements. https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/62100731 I hope you find it useful. Hi, whilst migration, TIA uses the classic software in the background In the PDF, the necessary software should already be installed, but with outdated versions. But this can also happen due to the integrity check of V5.7, so I assume you will also receive this message if you would like to open the project with V5.7 directly. At first, i suggest to deactivate the integrity check in the options of V5.7, maybe this already helps for migration too. If not, the latest updates for V5.7 as well as for WinCC flexible + Distributed Safety should be installed. After installing STEP 7 V5.7, why do you get a message about missing options packages when starting STEP 7?regards sancruz |
