Hello friends,

I´m trying to transfer a Project.hmi to a operator panel MP277 10" touch, To do that, I configure the transfer option to Ethernet in channel 2. I put the laptop IP into the same range of the panel. (The comm it´s right because I can do ping to the MP277 from my laptop). After open the winCC flexible with the Project execute the following step:

1.- On the MP277 push Transfer

2.- Open winCC flexible with the file .hmi and then Project-Transfer

3.- I Choose Ethernet mode and fill the gap with the IP (MP277 IP of course)

After that, begin to generate, but a message appear:

You cannot transfer. The config you make it´s for a different device than you are connected now.

How can I do? I tried with MPI with the same result

 from which ist this the data, from the real panel or from the device in the project?

Please open your project and go to device settings, then in device type drop down list, tell us what's your selection.

You should go to MultiPanel/ 270/ MP277 10'' Touch

yes maybe.

Whch version you have in the project and whch version is exactly on the Panel (check it in the panel and not aonly from the type plate of the panel)

Normally mentioned message you said in first post appear if you select a Panel different to the panel you want to connect to.

I mean here Panel type.

But for different versions, I doubt.

Could you give us some screen shots of the device setting in WinCC flexible and also the message.

You can also try to reset to factory setting and tell us what happened.

And to Update the MP version or reset to factory setting you should use ONLY one of the following cables with character U for update / restore factory setting or with character D for update.

after try again, I´m not able to transfer. I don´t know why. Let me show you step by step:

1.-open Project (MP 277 10" touch Project)

2.-With the MP panel in Ethernet, I push transfer to 192.168.140.12 (my laptop is under the range. I can do ping to this IP right) but nothing happen

Hi,

you never will find the error if you don't answer the question or use the tips which provided!

Check the FW Version of the Panel!

Make a screen of the error message!

MP transfer settings

 Check use prosave to OS update, or backup If it's OK the problem is not PG/PC or ethernet connect...

Then choose correct FW of Panel in wincc

Hello if problem remain  same,

Once you should try ,

Try mpi protocol instead ofEthernet,open simatic manager set pg/pc as mpi and close simatic manager, then open your wincc flexible and try to transfer with use of mpi protocol.

By the way it's not logical, but I have face like your problem and solved.

Make sure you have configure pg/pc interface correctly, PING can work with wrong pg/pc setting also(it is a windows tool not a siemens). If pg/pc is complete than go to prosave and check the version of your device. here it must communicate if all setting are correct and if not than share screen shots of pg/pc setting and prosave setting with errors.
