I don't think so. All options there when you selecting the PG is its technical specs

What is PG!!?

It is a laptop sold by Siemens, and it is industrial type (e.g. it can work in harsh environment and it can withstand shocks)

This laptop has Siemens software installed and used by engineers to program/debug siemens PLCs

The PG usually has a CP which can communicate through Profibus without the need for PC-Adapter.

JoeGrib Posts: 26 Rating: (1)	Your PG is your programming device (the device you use to program / interact with your PLC). In most cases that means a computer with programming software. For example, WinCC, Step 7 or TIA software (in the Siemens family). Hope that clears things up a bit.

It is a still used name for Siemens it's own programming pc's which contains anything needed to program the modern and old PLC's made by Siemens as it contains various outputs for connectingthem as well as pre-installed TIA portal and such programs. hope that covers it well enough. sincerely.
