ChristophD Hi, ok last night i had make a experiment: install Windows 10 Pro x64 from ISO-IMAGE fresh to a new virtual machine install .NET 3.5 support for win10pro install TIA STEP7 V13 SP1 from ISO-IMAGE , no modificated installdata ! install without any error after install reboot, start TIA Portal -OK create project ->OK create PLC -> OK install WinCC Professional V13 SP1 -> no error install Safety advanched V13 SP1 -> no error install TIAPORTAL UPD4 -> no error install Safety UPD4 -> no error Create project, create PLC( 1518-4F V1.6) no error try to go online -> not possible disable Windows firewall, start Siemens Simatic Security Controller -> activate all settings -> reboot after reboot, open Project and try go online -> working, can connect the PLC and download works Regards Christoph ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Windows 10.

subin Posts: 84 Rating: (20)	Sir, I just clicked the repeat settings and reboot the PC. i set the network adapter to obtain IP address automatically. Surprisingly I saw the Plc got listed. But when I try to go online it pop up with assign IP address and I pressed ok. But I then got a message saying failed to set ip. And followed by another message saying driver file not found. i repeat by setting a static ip on the Ethernet network adapter. Still I can't go online.

Reinstalle the Software and show if it works. If not then rollback to Windows 7 to work with a compatile operation sytem. Regards Christoph

Regards Christoph What is it good for? It just show me the changed settings of Windows Firewall? It is just for administration, not really for safety, right?
