Add-in tab is by default missing in Office 2007, it can only become visible with having certain add-ins installed compatible with 2007. On your first attachment tough (Excel Addin.jpg), WinCC Configuration Tool is nowhere in those Add-in list? I'm still trying some things meanwhile but in the end, it might be better that you create a support request (see under Contact, right top) |

If you open Excel 2007, click on the Office button in the top left corner.and choose Excel Options in the popup. Then you select Add-Ins on the left bar. In the window on the right, you'll see following lists: Active Applications Add-ins ... Inactive Applications Add-ins ... Document Related Add-ins ... & Disabled Applications Add-ins WinCC Configuration Tool should be in one of those lists if it's installed correctly. Normally it has to be under Active Applications Add-ins |

Dear All, Please be aware that WinCC Addin installed in Excel 2007 is a COM-Addin. It's different from general Addins. We can check if it has been installed in our current PC and then check if it has been activated in Excel 2007 by the fallowing Excel macro: Sub Check_IfItInstalled() Dim My_AddIn For Each My_AddIn In Application.COMAddIns 'WinCC Configuration Tool is not a general Application.AddIns. Debug.Print My_AddIn.Description Next End Sub Best regards, Komi AttachmentCheck_Excel_COMAddins.pdf (181 Downloads) |

thx for the macro Komi but it should be visible in the lists as well as I described above. I tried it on an Office 2007 here and it shows. As someone else said re-installing can help too. |
