What did you mean with "can't read EPROM"? Did you receive some error? About procedure follow this:

...burn your program to the EEPROM with Step 5 . Transfer in following sequence to the EEPROM : OB , SB , PB , FB . If your program generates DB,s on Startup you no not need to burn them to the EEPROM . If not, you may burn them to the EEPROM.
