 I have tried the "840d PL NC___PLC_Data_Clear & restore procedure.pdf" procedure multiple times with no results. NC & PLC clear procedure works up to line #9 but on line #10 PS LED does not show blinking (Stays solid red). Then when executing Line #11 +5V and PR go green and PS goes out. I don’t think NC & PLC are clearing from the control or something else is wrong. I had this problem back in 2015 and the procedure worked fine.

Then on "NC Data reload" everything seems to work up to line #23 and Line #24 “communication to NC re-established” comes on for just a brief second then goes right back to “Communication to NC failed”

I’m at a loss please help.

Welcome to forum.

Please open new topic to post your query & provide detail information/history of your problem.

I suggest you to check, if battery is OK & NCU box cooling fans are working. (here I presume yours is 840D PL) system. Next, take out NCU card from NCU box, clean cards connector & blew air in NCU box & clean it. Next reinsert NCU card in NCU box & switch ON power. Before doing any thing, please observe the status of seven segment & LED display on NCU box. If it does not display 6 & if any RED LED lits on NCU, please attach the snapshot of same here.
