I would like to know if it is possible to check whether the FM350-2 module receives signals generated by the encoder.

I just need to check if my FM350-2 reciving signal from encoder. I just note sure if my FM350 isn't broke because it just stop counting.

Also i'm sure that's encoder working fine

for example, you can enable Q0 for on when counter value >= comparison value in hardware configuration FM350 parameter in the TIA portal Or Simatic Manager. when the counter value increases from the comparison value Q0 will be On.

Thanks for the advice however, I think we still don't understand each other.

My counter don't counting at all and i thought that someone change PLC program so i try to use example program and it dosn't counting too. That is why i'm asking about the way to check if FM350-2 receive electric signals from encoder. I'm just wondering if FM350 isn't damage and how to confirm that.

Also tell me because i'm note sure if i'm right (i just start working with fm350) for configuration "pulse and direction" i need to call FC2 open software Gate for each channel and then using job (100 and 101) call fc4 to read channels. Do i need do something else to read act value of counter?
