I am also working on something similar, the ProDiag and Program_Alarm are shown correctly on the Client (UA Expert), but is there a way to define and send additional Events to the Client?

If you can share any help resources on the topic would be much appreciated.

the S7-1500 / ET 200SP CPUs are supporting OPC UA Alarms and Conditions since TIA V17 and allow you to send system events, ProDiag messages or programmed alarms (e.g. program_alarm block) to an OPC UA client (e.g. UA Expert).

Custom OPC UA Alarms and Conditions are currently not supported.

Unfortunately we were only able to get event notifiers in UAexpert. This was done via the little hocks in Siome.

My experienced colleague didn't found a solution to get the EventNotifier data into his Java interface. That would have been great for Prodiag stuff. 

For all other kind of states and functions which have been defined in Siome, worked well for him.
