Same Software, Different Font Sizes

Robotek-1 Joined: 7/16/2023 Last visit: 12/11/2024 Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, I'm experiencing this issue with font sizes on HMI. I had TIA 17 update 7 on my work computer's VM. Now, I have it on the host machine, as well. I noticed lately that when I download HMI software from host machine, the fonts are displayed smaller than when I download same software from VM. Again, identical software shows differently on HMI screen, depending on which machine I use to download it. Looked through settings on both TIA instances, did not see any differences. I'm running Windows 10 Pro. PLC is CPU1518F-4, HMI TP1200 Comfort Pro. Any help, please?

Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/5/2025 Posts: 16343 Rating: (1931)	Hello Robotek-1 If you download to a Comfort panel then set your DPI Settings to 100% -< do a Compile-> Software(rebuild all) and then download to the Panel. then you will get the same font sizes on Engineering PC and Comfort Panel. If you have a PC Runtime then you can also use other DPI settings but you will have to use the same settings on ES and RT System to get the same results. Bye Murof
