TP700 Comfort: download canceled due to transfer error

claude_reckinger Experienced Member Joined: 4/25/2015 Last visit: 8/22/2025 Posts: 114 Rating: (4)	Hello everybody, I manage to downgrade with prosave and the file CP_15_19_22_V2_V17_0.fwf It shows on the panel the same Firmware version as in the V19 project V17.00.00.00_42.01 but when I try to transfer I still got the alarm " download canceled due to transfer error 8020AB001A06FFF4!" According to what I can find on internet, the firmware is not the right version!!!! Any idea how to solve this Best regards Claude ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from Downgrade firmware for TP700 Comfort.

Everything seems to indicate that you have installed a firmware version that does not completely match the screen you have. The file CP_15_19_22_V2_V17_0.fwf is intended for the TP1500, TP1900, and TP2200 screens. For the TP700 you have, you must select the firmware file that starts with CP_7_9_12, which is the corresponding file for the screen you mentioned. I hope this way it can be solved 🍀

Use the Image Tool: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109825750 or if it does not work (but now with PIU V2 it should also work with the new login in Siemens Website), use the offline installation that is also explained in the FAQ above (Chapter 1.2) This way works with any version of TIA and with any Image Version you want to use, but always the same way as here described in the offline Installation bye Murof
