Hello everyone.

I am executing a VisualBasic script to ged data from a SQL server. My problem is that when I create Connection and Recordset objects, the recordset object ends up being a Fields object. I need the Recordset.EOF, Recordset.BOF and such, but when I try to use them I get the error "Object doesn't support this property or method", obviously.

My intentend recordset variable is "sql_rec", and the lines of codes regarding it are:

Dim sql_rec

...

Set sql_rec = CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")

...

sql_rec = sql_con.Execute(sql_cmd)

and this last line gives me this Fields object instead of the typical Recordset. sql_cmd is the query, sql_con is the connection object. Connections with the database and PLC don't have errors.

I am using WinCC V8.
