WinCC 8.0 - Online Trend Control

AutoGen_2335752 Member Joined: 3/2/2021 Last visit: 5/23/2025 Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi, I have a OnlineTrendControl which have changed behavier from WinCC 7.5 SP2 to WinCC 8.0. In WinCC 7.5, the trend values do not continue into the future when 'Move Trend Range' is activated used (See picture - left) But in WinCC 8.0, the actual value seems to be continuing into the future of the time axis when same above function is used. (See picture - right) I have been searching for a property to prohibit the values streching like that into the future as in WinCC 7.5 in the object properties for onlineTrendControl, but seems non existing. I have updated WinCC 8.0 to Update 3 now, to make sure I have the latest update of WinCC 8.0, that did not help either. Is there a property, method or some code or cript I can use to 'cut' the values like it used to be in WinCC 7.5? Any help much appreciated. Thank you. Murof Platinum Expert Joined: 8/3/2009 Last visit: 9/4/2025 Posts: 16343 Rating: (1931)	Hello AutoGen_2335752 I see what you mean, I testet it in V8 and also in V7.5 SP2 the new dots are drawn also if you use the pause button. in V8 the trendline is drawn in the future also if there are no values available. If you show the values with dots you see the difference between the trendline and the values. I also do not have found an option to turn that off in V8 ... perhaps a new systembehaviour... If you want to check you can also contact the Siemens Support Bye Murof

I will follow your suggestion and contact Siemens Support for any information. I will return and update my topic when I have an answer from Siemens support. Thank you.

Hello Jeffrey which WinCC Version do you use? Do you use the latest Upd4? I have not tried until Upd3 if there are changes in the behaviour... Bye Murof
