Help with Redundant System Setup on IPC647D with CP1616 and WinCC RT Professional 15.1

The environment is: Windows Server 2008 R2 WinCC RT Professional V15.1 TIA Portal V15.1 The goal is to configure redundancy between the two IPCs using the CP1616 modules. I have encountered problems during the setup of the CP1616 drivers. When installing the driver from the provided disk, I was not able to enable the PNIO driver (PNIO adapter does not activate). Could you please provide detailed instructions or a guideline on how to properly configure the CP1616 for redundancy in this setup? Any advice or documentation references would be very helpful. For WinCC Professional Redundancy you do not need a special configuration for the CPs. You would also be able to use common network cards. Check out the generel information in this example: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109772627 Which kind of redundancy do you want to set up? Only a WinCC redundancy or also integration in a MRP ring or do you also have a R/H PLC? Bye Murof
