Berno09 Posts: 40 Rating: (1)	hi all, because I want to repair a simovert masterdive 6SE7033-2TG60-Z by replacing the new IGD1 board with the new model of IGBT 1. following Siemens repairing sheets, they asked to remove the snubber resistors and their brackets. can someone tell if the parts shown in the picutre are the snubber resistors? Correct, they are the snubber resistors, when you replace the IGD1 with the IDG4 boards, you remove the snubber resistors and also you don't have to re-install the snubber circuit boards. The ideal way to test an IGBT is to run it under load, however, it is possible to test it at 24VDC. Using the Masterdrive testbox is one way (6SE7090-0XX84-1FK0) Please see the attached documents for testing IGBT's and SCR's (Rectifiers) with meters, maybe they can help you.
