Many Thanks for your reply. Been away for Christmas break so have not been able to thank & update you earlier.

The Link you gave was useful but I was still not able to add the TP177B MONOHmi into my existing project via Step 7 or WinCC Flex.

However;on the last day beforemy hols I had a brain wave and succeeded.

My solution was: -

• Reinstall both Step 7 & WinCC Flex.
• Created a new Integrated project in WinCC Flex - Found TP177B MONO Hmi straight away.
• Integrated with the sameS7-300 modelplc.
• Copied existing migrated project into new (blank) project
• Use WinCC Flex to update the TP177B MONO ops system.
• Downloaded and tested - Now working ok.

I think the Siemens "term" for this project is a "stand alone" project & so I guess its the Hmi & WinCC that is the starting point.

Question: - Am I right in saying I can Backup this project to the plc MMC card via the mpi/ppi network cable providing the correct folder details are entered into the Hmi??
