How to configure additional MPI port with WinCC Flex on Panel PC 677B

JamieH Posts: 15 Rating: (0)	Hi All, I currently have a WinCC Flex project running on Simatic panel PC 677B with a CPU 315 2-DP PLC communicating over MPI. I would like to add an extra PLC (anotherCPU 315 2-DP)to the WinCC Flex project also communicating over MPI. However, the panel PC only has one MPI port. Is there some way around this e.g. USB to MPI etc... Thanks Jamie

I don't know how to setup the netwerk, is it so that i need to connect the 2 MPI ports of the PLC's to the HMI device ? If so, do the 2 MPI-wire's go in the same connector on the HMI or do i use 2 connectors on top of each other ?

So frominput1 goes toinput2 and from output2 goes toinput 3...This is the logic in connectors' connections. In your case I think is need it one repeater. Take a look at above mentioned manual.
