But only via Profibus DP So there must be a Profibus Master. You can not connect MP177 6" to Programming port of CPU When you want to use Profibus DP, you do not need a converter, because there is already a RS485 port. Best regards, Wizard

My WinCC Flex help file tells my that it is possible to communicate with MP177?? (see attached file) Strange... What kind of panelshouldi then use to communicate true AS511? Regards Marco. Sandman Platinum Member Joined: 4/29/2010 Last visit: 1/20/2025 Posts: 1557 Rating: (161)	Hello Marcop, it is possible you are right ;)...from flexible 2008 SP2 you can use the multi panels for AS511 (wasn`t possible before flexible 2008 SP2). You need the RS422-TTY converter 6AV6671-8XJ00-0AX0 for that connection and you must disable the remote control in the transfer settings in the panel. You can also find this information in the flexible help system. best regards.
