HMI to Sinamics Setpoint problem

Graeme Platinum Member Joined: 6/4/2008 Last visit: 11/25/2025 Posts: 1521 Rating: (327)	Hi, I am directly addressing a Sinamics CU320-2 using a TP177B as a Class-2 Master. The problem I have is related to the speed setpoint entry (I am using a Tag to write to a fixed speed setpoint in the CU, Parameter 1001). I can see the actual setpoint change in the CU, so I know the connection is ok. The "intermittent" issue is when I want to increase the setpoint from say 555 RPM to 777RPM by typing on the screen keyboard, the setpoint drops to zero and the drive stops (or runs at 0 RPM). This does not happen every time, sometimes, the drive just ramps from its current value to the new setpoint (which is what I want it to do) When it does go wrong, even when when the keyboard is showing a valid setpoint, as soon as I press enter, the value suddenly becomes zero. Everything else seems to work fine. Any ideas? Graeme
