Runtime on IPC477 : Entering Values

stevib Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Hi, When running a WinCc Flexible 2008 Configuration under WinCc Flexible 2008 Runtime on a WinXP PC (an IPC477C to be exact), the cursor is not hidden unlike an MP377. Hiding the cursor is not a problem – it’s a simple Windows program. The big problem for the user is when entering a value for an I/O field. The first time that field is selected by touching the screen, the entire field's contents are selected and so are overwritten by the new value usingthe on-screen keyboard. If that field is selected a second time, the entire field's contents are NOT selected and so cannot be overwritten by simply typing a new value. This DOES NOT happen with an MP377 since an I/O Field’s contents are ALWAYS selected and can ALWAYS be overwritten. I know that it's not a big issue but I wondered if there was a workaround - for instance, can you change focus easily to another screen object after pressing the enter key on the on-screen keyboard ?Best Regards Steve
