fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings Just make an appropriate amount of copies of original HMI in your project and change their addresses... If you are using Industrial Ethernet, you don't even have to make copies; just change the IP address of each PC you will have HMI on. You should explain what you exactly want in more details Best regards

I already have 2 Licenced copies of WINCC FLEXIBLE ADBANCE 2008 RT, I want to use to WINCC Flexible based computers Configure with Single S7-300, but I am facing problem to configuration. I want to know is there any role of PROFIBUS?, coz I am using MPI. what hardware/software exactly i need? How to use the these for the required task? One thing I have no any experience about PROFIBUS... Thanks Danish Ali Nawaz.

Transfer RT licence with enough number of power tags to each PC. Ensure that the PC is equipped with Profibus Communication Processor likeCP5621. This Communication processor is used to connet a PC with PCI express bus to Profibus or MPI. Then route MPI network using Profibus cables and bus connector. And check termination on both ends of the bus. Copy RT file to each PC and ensure that each PC has a unique address. If you are using MPI, then you should connect to MPI port of the CPU on the left hand side. If you are using Profibus, then you should connect to DP port of the CPU on the right hand side. Hope this helps.

fbelic Posts: 327 Rating: (28)	Greetings You are asking too general questions... Look on Google and Wikipedia for PROFINET and PROFIBUS, then search for manuals about them here in Product Support. If you have a CPU with PN (Ethernet), then this is the easiest solution, because you don't need any additional hardware (maybe one Ethernet switch, depending on the number of RJ-45 connectors on CPU and number of PCs). If not, then do it asAyman Elotaify suggested. PROFIBUS is newer technology, faster and with more abilities, than MPI. Best regards

How do you configure a connection between WinCC flexible Runtime (PC/Panel) and a SIMATIC S7-300/S7400 via PROFIBUS/MPI? Take in mind Which connection resources are occupied in the S7-300 CPU for communication connections and services of the Industrial Ethernet CP? and How do you parameterize the communication resources of S7-300 CPUs so that WinCC stations and S7-300 stations do not have connection failures? in case of ethernet connection.
