faceplate creation using tag prefix

Hello, please tell us your problem in more details. The idea of face plate is to make the job once and then call this faceplate many times and connecting it with tags according to objects. Did you already developed your own faceplate? What's the problem now with you? May be this thread answer your questions. faceplate Hope it helps.

When you use faceplate, you don't need to use structure tags. You create graphics inside faceplate then connect needed properties to an faceplate interface which later will be seen as faceplate interface on the screen once you insert it. Search on the forums for that. There is really lots of tutorials how to create faceplate and how to connect its properties. Also there is nice how'tos in help system of the Flex.
