Ok thanks for the info Wizard. Just to make sure I understand correctly, I can use RS-232 I just need to use a laptop that has a com port on it?

But would a USB/MPI cable be my best option? Are they all the same? Or will any do? I didn't see an actual part# for one. |

Hello, Have a look here: how can you transfer a WinCC flexible project via MPI/PROFIBUS to a Windows-based panel? first note: PC-adapter (USB or RS232) are not supported. Although it sometimes does work. Best regards, Wizard |
