When to do an OS Update on MP177

YvonV Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	A co-worker of mine created a procedure for the electricians at my work on how to replace an MP177 should one fail during a shift. in the procedure he put a step to perform an OS Update on the MP177's, but I though with a new MP out of the box that during the 1st ever download the OS would be updated automatically? Am I correct in thinking that? or should an OS Update be performed manually before downloading the application to it? Let me know Thank You Yvon

Basically the update of OS is related to version of WinCC FL and panels -What connections are there between the version designations in WinCC flexible? Best regards, Hristo Mihalev
