Upload Program from CPU

jawwadsiddique Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	In PCS7, we usually use CFC to program our logics and download to CPU. but when we upload the same program from CPU, CFCs are not uploaded. Is there any way to upload the CFCs as well from the CPU?

Yoga Shankar Posts: 288 Rating: (22)	The program uploaded from the CPU will not contain any symbolic addressing. I the case of the program baing generated from CFC compiling, the FC's and FB's which are not even access protected will have no symbolinc addressing. The blocks which are protected belong to one of many siemens technological libraries and in most cases will have been generated from SCL compilers. So even if you manage to unlock the blocks (backdoor and unsafe methods on the project database itself) you will not be able to read or understand the code, much less debug it.
