Migrating from MP270 to TP1200

The old project was compiled in WinCC 2005, which I dont have nor the full copy of the project. Now my questions are: - Is it possible to migrate by just uploading a project to a WinCC portal from the existing panel? Or do I need a full and compiled project to open from the WinCC portal? Now abstracting that I have my project opened in WinCC portal, how difficult is it to convert the project to a new panel - the tp1200? Any particular items I should be looking at? I can’t afford extended downtimes. And lastly, I guess the PLCs hardware configuration needs to be changed to a newer panel. Any insight will be highly appreciated. Gregg

Gregg The migration from WinCC Flexible to WinCC Comfort V11 SP2 requires a WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2 or SP3 project. You will have to upgrade your project to 2008 Once you have it upgraded to 2008 here is a link to help you with the migration. http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/58857225?Datakey=47069298 The WinCC V11 help file also has a section on migration.
