Cannot synchronise Flex project with STEP 7 project

John@Textor Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hi all, When I open my projects in Flex i get the message --> "Cannot synchronize the data of the STEP 7 project! Another STEP 7 project may have locked the project. Please close all STEP 7 applications and try again. Do you want to try to synchronize the STEP 7 project again?". Obviously all symbols are 'Undefined' and I can only get the project to synch when I remove the references to the multi-project from within the STEP 7 project. Once the references are removed, everything works fine. However, this is obviously not desired. I have tried with Flex 2008 SP1 and Flex 2008 SP1 HF1 and achieved the same result. I am also using Simatic Manager 5.4 SP5. Thanks in advance, Jay

trakyy Experienced Member Joined: 8/11/2011 Last visit: 5/17/2025 Posts: 51 Rating: (1)	Hi tweety, My problem is not the integration on the wincc into step7. i m already working like this, my problem is, i can not see the true connection of my network in wincc. everything is ok in hw config and network config. but i can not see the network configuration changes in wincc, i see recent configurations. i found a last working arcieved project and tried to retrieved it. but i see that message:"cannot synchronize the data of the step 7 project another step 7 application may have locked the data" except wincc, there is no program open in pc.
