Recipe Data to Server

Dave1966 Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I am trying to setup an MP277 to save its recipe data to a server in .csv format so that the data can be manipulated and so that new recipes can be created, then imported back to the panel. There are several production lines with the same recipe structure that will share this .csv file. I am curently having trouble getting the MP277 to save the file to a networked computer on the same subnet. I followed the FAQ's about networking, I have a DNS server resolving names... I can ping from the MP277 to the computer I want to save the data to by name, but I keep getting the "Invalid Path for Recipe \\computername\directory\file.csv". Anyone have suggestions???

David1966 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	Tweety, thanks for your reply. I don't know why but I could not get back on the forum with Dave1966. Anyway, I do have a share on my laptop with security set to Everyone Full Control. I did try to connect to this share from Windows Explorer from the MP277 with no luck. I tried by IP address and by name\share and I keep getting the "Bad network path" error pop up.

David1966 Posts: 3 Rating: (0)	You're right haitao07, works perfectly. I also found that when I put the panel on the domain, I can connect with server shares with any user name and password, but I need the same to connect with my laptop. Thanks for your help.
