hi how I can create a button that displays a motor states, for example:

Green = operating

yellow = stopped

Red = overload

for that I have two tag

Which SCADA are you using?

To achieve this you have two options as follows :

1) take 3 different symbols (motor symbol or button symbol from the symbol library) with the three different mentioned colors above which should be placed back to back (ie red for stop, green for running and so nd so) and assign the visibility porperties accordingly. ie when your tag value is set, make the corresponding symbol with the corresponding color visible.

2)take a symbol and assign analog properties for it in the color properties, ie if the tag value is 0, diplay it with red color and if the tag value is 1- display it with green color and so and so.

You can better do these logics in your PLC program and assign a memory address as the output for each of the conditions and use these memory bits for the graphic color changes in the SCADA screen rather than directly using the tags.
