WinCC flexible 2008 Sp3 with Chinese language

To translate from english to chinese we use a simple method: export all text -> send text to translating agency and import text again translated. He show me a panel with all chinese symbol and all is ok. But on my PC I try to open the project and I see only a lot of small rectangle but in the properties tab at the bottom I see the chinese symbol (see attachment). Someone can help me?? I solve this problem by myself. I install in international options of language in control panel of windows XP the features for asian language and arabian language.

SiemensGray Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I'm trying to do the same thing and I am able to import/export but it exports as english. I am trying to convert English to Chinese (PRC) but when I do this it exports to the excel file as english. Isn't windows supposed to convert this? If not, I can see inside the excel file the imported language is in <"text">, are we to send this out to get translated?

Please take a look at this FAQ: How do you configure Asian fonts in WinCC flexible? best regards

SiemensGray Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	I wasn't getting blocks. I was getting nothing prior to export/import and now when I export and import, it imports in English just in the SimSun font. I went through your link and I've enabled windows and can select that keyboard and have enabled Chinese (PRC) in flex - traditional wasn't available in flex. Toggling the languages in the runtime still just toggled english to english in SimSun font. I can export all the text and it exports 2 columns when opened in excel, english and Chinese.
