MS1981 Silver Member Joined: 4/14/2010 Last visit: 6/26/2025 Posts: 525 Rating: (11)	Greeting, i wish to use 6AV6643-0CB01-1AX1 for Archiving of object character value history. there will be 8,640 text value will be archived in a day. we wish to save loging data for previous one year. i have selected 6AV6671-1CB00-0AX2 and 6ES7648-0DC50-0AA0 for MP 277 8" TOUCH. Can it work against our requirements. Thanks.

Dear Tweety, thanks for message, actually i want to archive the numaric text valu in following format. XXXXXXX [DD/MM/YY] [hrs:mins] Weight XX.XX kg XXXXXXX = counter digits from 0000001 to 9999999 [DD/MM/YY] = 15/01/13 and so on [hrs:min] = 24 hour clock format (22:21) daily entry of archive as above format wil be = 6,000 Max. total for previous one year will be 6,000x365 = 2,190,000 so i want to know limitation of entries of archive as CSV file. can we save previous one year record in attached removable storage media of HMI. Thanks.

Thanks. Hello, These limits are dependent of your Panel. You can find these limits in the help of WinCC flexible or in the following link. How are tags and alarms logged in WinCC flexible? What are the functional differences between the different SIMATIC panels? Tweety
