If so yes you have to open an instance of excel, open the correct sheet and put in something like xlsht.range("A9").color = 65535. you then have to savein an excel format i.e. .xlsxas a csvitself contains no information about format.

Yanto Posts: 54 Rating: (2)	Then I believe changing anything to do with the font or line/column colour will not be possible. Have you tried saving to excel using xlApp.DisplayAlerts = False (where xlApp is the variable set to open the excel application). This should stop it asking if you want to overwrite the original.
