Hi j, very little information I can find on my hands in regards to the BALLUFF IO Link master you using. But I presume you had change the interface of DP master to "DPV1" , if DP master is set to " S7-compatible", the IOL block is not functioning correctly, and also your parameter at CAP is 227 unless the IO-Link master manual specify this parameter in differently, ok, back the result you got,

Status "DW#16#00700000" - the two middle bytes of STATUS "W#16#7000" correspond to the ouptu parameter RET_VAL of the SFCs, which I can't find any error message for this code because the bit 15 is not set, but you want to cross-check with BR of status word to make sure."1 means without Error", but I guess the following error is critical.

IOL_Status: "DW#16#80520000"- At the byte 0 and byte 1 is fine, "W#16#0000" showing "No Error are present at IO-Link", but the byte 2 and 3 of the IOL_Status-"W#16#8052" is showing the Error codes from the IO-Link master or from the IOL_CALL means the Error has occured when you calling the SFB52. That might be the place where you start with.

Sorry for keep you waiting, and I am actually a bit struggling too with this thing, I understand you 've done everything from the BALLUFF TECHconfiguration setup documentin regards to the Acyclic communction via FB1 IOL_CALL , and I see no reason why we couldn'tread/writethe data through the bus. However, please try and double check the following thing before we made this conclusion;

1> Does your CPU S7-315 2DP supports DPV1 functionality ?

In the S7-300 family, Only the CPUs with MMC support the DPV1 master functionlaity as of firmware version 2.0, please make sure of that, and also double click up the 2nd dp of your S7-315, make sure in the Operatiing Mode TAB, the interface of DP master you set to DPV1. ( Because you project only have one DP master which is the 2dp of your CPU, not the I/O link master, I/O link master is a slave with No 4 on your DP bus)

In your HW configuration page, you set the interruption mode to DPV1 which is fine, but that was not what I really meant .

2> Try change of the INPUT parameters from your IOL_CALL,

PORT, IOL_INDEX, and IOL_SUBINDEX set value "hex 0000", means you READ/WRITTEN the IO_LINK master (BALLUFF IO_LINK in your project).

3> If still not go, I would recommend try the CAP = 227 ( I know BALLUFF is always 255, but worth to try see if any difference )
