Datalogging Multipanel

Poljachina77 Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	Hello all. I'm trying to log some variables at the end of a working cycle of the machine, not cyclically. Is this possible with a multipanel. I would like to log 4 variables. So in the historical data I've made a datalog(CSV file, Circural log) with the 4 variables that I want logged. I configured all the tags like so: Acquisition mode: Cyclic ,1 s And when my process ends a bit goes to ''1'' for 1 second and back to ''0''. So at this tag when the value changes I've set up the function startlogging and after that stoplogging so that there would be only 1 entrie for 1 cycle of the machine. But unfortunately this does not work. I also tried the logtag function at the same tag. But again no entries in the datalog on the SD card of the panel. Is there any other way to log data only once per working cycle of a machine? Thanks in advanced. Cheers Al

Poljachina77 Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	I've sloved it. I configured all the tags like so: Acquisition mode: On demand Then I hid a switch on the a screen and I configured this switch so that when it is ON, the function LogTag is executed.

Poljachina77 Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	So, when I thought that I solved the problem, yesterday I noticed that the logging of the variables is not working correctly. As I said I use the function LogTag when a switch goes to ON. I set the switch to On (with a M100.0 tag) with the PLC when my process is finished. I just can't understand why sometimes the values are logged and other times they are not. Can I diagnose anything on the panel or at least see if the request for the start of the dataloging is even recognized? If I change the acquisition mode co cyclical the datalog works fine. So what could be the problem? Thanks in advanced. Cheers A

Poljachina77 Posts: 27 Rating: (0)	No the panel still doesn't always log the data. It logs if I clear the log's folder and power up the machine again. But when I turn off the machine and restart it the logging stops working. I am logging with the logtag function, whic is executed when the value of the M100.0 variable changes. Best regards Aleix
