You have a miss-match of motion control versions. The FB is expecting V3 while the DB of the technology object is set to V4. Select one of two options..

Option 1 - change to V3 by selecting the version number in the instructions drawer.

Option 2 - update the variable used in the FB to reflect the V4 data structure. Some editing may be needed as the V3 and V4 data structure might be different.

I am not sure  <exactly>  .. if you upload a sample piece of your program we can figure it out. You can delete the coding inside the FB but leave the variables as is.

Before doing that - go inside the FB and compile the code block first and update the DB associated with it. There should be code updated or an error shown.

Also check what data type the command table DB is - it might be easy enough to change the FB parameter to the same (UDT) data type.

A piece of information that could have been helpful to mention:
The project builds on a library provided by Siemens from..

That library is for TIA V12 and you have TIA V13.0.
Attached is the fixed program but it is for TIA V13.1!
Unzip in Windows and then extract the ZAP archive in TIA.
It was a tough fix to do... I hope I am paid in stars (joke).

So I need to guide you through the steps:

1. Start a new project. Place an S7-1200 PLC in the project.. the one you will use.

2. Go to the instructions drawer and change the version number to V3 (!) for the motion control. See the image from the previous post... so the V5 becomes V3 in my case.

3. Open the library (see above link) in the Libraries drawer - Global Libraries. The system asks to upgrade from V12 to V13 library... let it do that.

4. Drag the files meant for the PLC into the project  (Master Copies: UDT and FB)..

5. Create a Command Table technology function DB.

6. Drag the FB into OB1 and let TIA create a DB.

7. Drag the Command Table technology function DB as FB parameter.

6. Do a complete system compile. Handle errors if any. It may be needed to go inside the FB1 and update the data type (right click the red coloured data type name and set to update).

Upgrade the motion version?

7. Go to the instructions drawer and change the version number from V3 to a higher version for the motion control. (my case is V5) The same idea as in step 2 but in reverse.

8. Do a complete compile. In my case there were errors.

9. Adapt the data types to suit the version number.

In my case the #Temp_CommandTable data type was changed.

10. Do a final compile - This project can be used to build on or to copy the code out of.
