Hello experts,

I have a question refarding profisafe communication in G120 and S120.

If I am taking CU250S-2 (having integrated safety functions) and in S120, CU320-2 PN (no idea about safety functions) then If i want to have profisafe communication with both , is it necessary to have an F- CPU ???

I have got ET200SP CPU right now so is it possible to have this profisafe communication with CU250S-2 (or CU240E-2 PN F(this control unit should be taken ?) ) and CU320-2 PN

Can anyone clear me with the correct configuration needed for the given CPU and Profisafe.

which ET200SP CPU you have exactly?

For PROFISafe communication you need a f-PLC!

 Yes sir I have normal PLC 1510sp-1 ..i too thought that .

Thanks for the reply So in which case If i want to use safety functions in G120 or S120 with normal CPU then I should so it through terminals right??

yes correct, if you use only Safety logic inside the drive then you use Standard PLC.
