    Does S210 support any drivercliq encoder? since it one cable design, only 2 profinet RJ45 sockets available,  I suppose that it no way to connect drivercliq safe encoder to S210 converter.

Hello,

yes, the SLM has a different internal hardware than the S210 rectifier, so it is hard to discuss this here in the forum without knowing grid properties etc.

But if you have let's say a "standard" industrial grid supply, there should be no issue with S210. So I don't want to raise any doubts here in using this, just to make this clear. But it seems you wanted to know the impact on the grid in detail.

to S210 you can just connect the 1FK2 motor series by One Cable Connection. For that motors safe DRIVE CLiQ encoders are available (integrated motor encoder). You can do Extended Safety Functions with that.

It is not possible to connect any other second encoder additionally to the motor encoder.

       May I concluded as:  The only possible solution could be use Profinet encoder and control by S7-1500 if independent encoder is mandatory.

S210 have no DQ Interface like S120.

that's correct. Let's say any other encoder that is possible to connect to the PLC (via PROFINET or TM_PosInput module etc.)
